LEW WOOD PRESENTS NEW PLAN FOR DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT
Urban developer, Lew Wood, has presented his downtown development plan to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Below you will see a detailed plan that will create hundreds of new jobs, revitalize downtown Kerrville and provide a new tax base for the city. Lew’s plan includes a 150 room hotel with penthouse condominiums and second level pool deck, 40,000 Sq.Ft. convention center with roof top garden and amphitheater, upscale destination spa on the river, and Schreiner Department Store converted to ground level retail and second story lofts. As reported in the Kerrville Daily Times, the hospital board has rejected these plans in order to demolish the hospital. If the citizens have any input, we suggest you contact the hospital board, the city and the Kerrville Daily Times at with your comments. Click here to read the Kerrville Daily Times Article.
